Wes Anderson Film Festival???

I am quite impressed with this gent. Via BOOOOOOOM I found Mr. Cornell's graduate project: a West Anderson Film Festival...awesome. Not only did he create some really cool press media including a dynamite box:BUT...he also made a spot on, perfect trailer for the festival. I wish I could go.

My Crowning Achievement

You may have heard of the blog ThisIsWhyYou'reFat.com. It features all sorts of fat-ass havin', artery clogging, life altering recipes (usually involving bacon, deep frying, cheese, or all of the above) sent in by readers. Needless to say I was quickly obsessed and inspired. My official submission count stands at a grand total of 1, and since the website has been recently shut down, at one it shall stand. But today is a new day...and in honor of ThisIsWhyYou'reFat.com I have come up with this:

Bear In Heaven/Twin Sister/Mountain Man

Ash and I went to see one of the Pitchfork after shows at Lincoln Hall Saturday night. I was completely blown away. I've posted a great song by Twin Sister before so here are a couple by the two other bands who couldn't be more different from one another...

I've somehow happened upon couple of incredible artists in the past few days. Something about their work really struck a chord with me. I've always been really interested in psychedelic culture/art/music and I think their combinations of vintage colors, clashing patterns, and abstract situations are what draws forth stoner sentiments for me.

Broken Social Scene's new video

Just found a great new video from Broken Social Scene's excellent new album Forgiveness Rock Record on P4K. The video seems to be a social commentary for our ADD ridden country and highlights a vast array of topics from the oil spill to Bieber to those crazies on Whale Wars. Enjoy!
